Good bye ugly pine trees! We will NOT miss you. Sadly the landscapers got to work so quickly that I didn't have time to snap a before shot.
The kids were fascinated by the "worker men" and wanted to watch. I thought the boys should mimic their
heroes. Austin is in the yellow coat. He and his sister Emma are staying with us till Friday. He was a great sweeper and Gav was an awesome pile scooper.
The girls observed politely.
But they also got bored really quickly. So the backyard was a good option.
Here's the finished product. No overgrown trees blocking the front door.
WAHOO!!
We replaced the trees with
Camilia bushes. They have bright red blooms and thrive in the shade.
So much better!

okay...I didn't think they had to go, but the house looks fantastic without them. Good choice!
Looks great!
Your place looks gorgeous. Nice to do some "spring cleaning---OUT"
Hey I am headed off to Utah TODAY> will see your mom.
She said you are coming to visit July 6th!!!!!!
Looks really nice! P.s. have I mentioned you are crazy? ha ha ha ha...LOVE your ACE!
Wow what a pretty home you have!!!
Your place looks great with the big pines gone. They were beautiful, but the bright side you won't miss cleaning up the pine needles, the roots that grow high to the top of the ground (which is hard on grass growth) and keeping them trimmed. The bright side also is the Camillia bushes are colorful while in bloom and adds the pretty green when not in bloom, and if you want a chanage down the road, you can cut them down by yourselves. Your home looks great. Also don't let the kids forget how to use the broom. They looked like they were having fun.
Love, G.Grandma Edie
