Headgear

My kids love hats! But Gavin hasn't had a new one for a while, so he borrowed one of Laynie's. He sure makes me laugh.

I have a neary identical picture of Gavin asleep in a little blue hoodie. My kids really are a lot alike!

What a mouthful!

"Mommy, it sounds like you have chocolate in your mouth."

With eyebrows raised I reply, "Don't you mean it smells like I have chocolate in my mouth?"

"No Mommy. You sound like chewing when you have chocolate in your mouth."

"Okay...and how do you know that it's chocolate and not fruit snacks?"

Exasperated, Gavin exclaims, "Because you always eat chocolate!"

It's only funny because it's true.

Discipline

"Gav, are you listening to me? Are your ears on?"

Pinching his ears he replies, "Yes, they're on. Is your brain on?"
