Thai Guy

Jamie bought these pajamas in Bangkok for Gavin last year. It's finally warm enough to wear them... that is if Gavin wanted to. We got him ready for bed and then he said, "My 'jamas' are too slickery." Then he stripped down and ran around in his underwear until I could convince him to put new pajams on.

Just Ducky

Gavin, Laynie and I went to a local park to feed the ducks. Some friends met us there and brought the coolest duck food! It's hard corn kernels, like what is fed to deer. You can get a 20 pound bag for about $5 at our local outdoor outfitters. The ducks love it and totally flock to us! You will have to try it with your kids!

Wallace House of Style

Thanks for the super cute dress Aunt Woozie!

Don't you love my piggy tail!

Mom's trying to get my to smile, but my brother is doing a better job.

My Aunt Looli made me a dozen cute bibs. That way I don't puke all over my clothes! Thanks Aunt Looli! You are a rock star.

Some Wallace style choices are better than others. Gavin thought the scary Halloween socks looked "AWESOME!" with his Christmas Monkey Pajamas. Love it!

Blah, Blah Blog

Hooray for Laynie!

Hooray for me!

Hooray for Mommy!

Nothing very exciting is happening in the Wallace household. But, Laynie did get to wear a cute dress to church on Sunday. So...I guess that warrants a note in the family blog. One piece of good news: At Laynie's doctors appointment on Monday, she weighed 10 pounds 6 ounces. Our little "Jabba" has gained more than 2.5 pounds in six weeks.

Can You Say Chubby!

Anyone who knows Gavin knows that he has always been pretty thin. That's why it has been such a nice change to have a child who eats...and it shows! Secretly, I call her Jabba (as in Jabba the Hut from Star Wars). It's not meant to be mean, it's just the double chin! And if you want to get into nicknames, my mom calls her Porker!

Even though these shots are great of her smiling, they don't really show what a truly happy, beautiful baby she is. We are so blessed!

Pretty in Ink

Someday Gavin will be mortified that I used the word "pretty" associated with him. That's not really the point anyway! Look what I caught him doing with his new markers! Maybe letting him watch American Idol isn't the best idea...Some of those people have some scary tatoos!
