Gavin, Laynie and I went to a local park to feed the ducks. Some friends met us there and brought the coolest duck food! It's hard corn kernels, like what is fed to deer. You can get a 20 pound bag for about $5 at our local outdoor outfitters. The ducks love it and totally flock to us! You will have to try it with your kids!

what park? what store do you get the food? The ducks at Warden's pond are snobs...they don't like cereal or crackers or bread very much.
It's the pond right off Huffmeister. If you turn on Terra Point and drive straight to the back of the neighborhood you will come to a little park. Vickie Oehring brought the duck food. She got it at Gander Mountain. It totally works! The ducks were trying to eat out of our hands!
It looks like you are at the Cypress Point Lake Estates and if you are, let me say, those ducks will eat anything. So, no worries on corn next time. Take leftover cereal because Devin taught me that they love that too. Hahaha. :o) Looks like fun.
